Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best known for his role in the popular TV series called 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he enrolled in the acting program. Although he's worked on both television and films but it was his character on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much fans. He's able to seamlessly play characters who are from both sides of law, and captivate the viewers' focus. His initial project was a TV serial and he then stepped into his role as an NYPD detective. For his performances on small screen, he's garnered several nominations for the most prestigious Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face can be attributed to his stunning blue eyes which are considered to be a signature and has helped in portraying characters who are rough and flamboyant. In 2006, he was featured in the Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
